ABOUT

I am a Swimming Coach, Marathon Swimmer and Swim Podcaster, coming from a competitive Masters Swimming background. I have swam a number of ultra marathon swims including The English Channel in 2024 and Round Jersey in 2023. I have medalled several times at National Masters both in the pool and in the Open Water; and have swam dozens of 10km races. As a freelancer I understand the need for flexibility in training plans as life invariably gets in the way. I work with swimmers who have a specific goal and write totally bespoke training plans for everyone I work with: no one swimmer is the same and there is no one size fits all way to achieve success. Whether you are planning an English Channel Swim, 10km Lake Swim or even dipping into the Open Water for the first time, I'd be delighted to work with you...

Full package

Daily, weekly and yearly plan, and regular access to WhatsApp with fortnightly FaceTime / Zoom calls... - We will start with a phone call to discuss your over-arching event and any other swims planned. - I will work with what you can commit to in terms of pool time and Open Water time (weather dependent). - This has to accommodate your swim / life balance. - I will outline a yearly training schedule for you with ideal volume laid out - including ideal rest weeks and maximum volume week / training peaks. - All bespoke to you and no one training plan is like another. - Daily sets will be varied and all have specific goals; working with threshold, pace, speed and endurance. £100 per month (+VAT)
